These traditionally Mediterranean handheld grater plates are one of our most used kitchen tools. Used to grate garlic, ginger, and turmeric into a fine paste to replace grated, zested or even minced options.

Directions for Use: Get the grater plate slightly wet, take a clove of garlic or a piece of peeled ginger and rub it on the nubs until you have your desired amount of finely grated goodness. You may occasionally need to use a brush (I recommend a pastry brush) to get the goodness out from between the nubs.
Care Instructions: Rinsing with warm to hot water immediately after use makes for the simplest cleanup. Hand wash only (putting in the dishwasher will dull the plate). Store with care.
